Big Brothers Big Sisters Prism Program

The PRISM Program, which stands for Pride, Respect, Identity, Safety, and Mentoring, matches youth who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community with adult mentors who also identify as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The program allows children and youth to forge an empowering connection with a 2SLGBTQ+ caring adult through a one-to-one, In-School, or group mentoring relationship. The relationship provides a young person with the space to explore their identity, create a powerful connection with a supportive adult, and connect them with the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Oxford County.

Most trans youth in Oxford County are the oldest trans person they know. Are you a trans adult looking for a way to give back to the 2S/LGBTQ+ community of Oxford?
