Katie Schuett
She/Her
Katie first joined Oxford County Pride in 2024 as a general committee member and now proudly serves as Vice President. She is deeply committed to advocating for marginalized communities and helping build a county where everyone feels accepted, valued, and celebrated, regardless of identity, culture, ability, or age.
Drawing on more than 15 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field, Katie has led initiatives and created educational resources that center diversity, equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care. Collaboration is at the heart of her approach; she believes that lasting change happens when people work together and learn from one another. Beyond her role with Pride, Katie volunteers with Cycles of Life and supports various Indigenous-led events throughout the KW area.
